Gardening presentation offered at Hickory library | Local News

HICKORY – The public is invited to attend a fall garden display at the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on George Place on Thursday, August 19 at 5:30 p.m. on George Place at the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library for fresh produce to be enjoyed all winter long.

Place, director of the Catawba County Extension Service, will provide an overview of a successful fall garden, including soil preparation, variety selection, cold management and more. Come by and get some new ideas on how to enjoy fresh garden products all winter long.
